UP police forcibly cremating Hathras rape victim at night, allege kin

Local police officers, however, told PTI that the cremation was being carried out as per the wishes of the family. hATHRAS RAPE CASE:  The family of the 19-year-old Dalit woman, who died in a Delhi hospital a fortnight after she was gang-raped here, alleged on Wednesday that the police were forcibly trying to get her body cremated in the middle of the night. After her condition deteriorated, she was referred to Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital where she breathed her last on Tuesday. The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, offers a more complete picture of the vaccine’s safety in older adults, a group at increased risk of severe complications from COVID-19. General Atlantic to invest Rs 3,675 cr in Reliance Retail for 0.84% stake

  This is the second such investment by General Atlantic in a Reliance venture following a Rs 6,598.38 crore investment in Jio Platforms announced earlier this year General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm will invest Rs 3,675 cr in Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, RIL said in a BSE filing on Wednesday. General Atlantic’s investment will translate into a 0.84% equity stake in RRVL. The deal values Reliance Retail at a pre-money equity value of Rs 4.285 trillion, said RIL in a media release. Reliance Retail Ventures Limited is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, and holding company of all the retail companies under the RIL Group. It reported a consolidated turnover of Rs 162,936 crore ($ 21.7 billion) and net profit of Rs 5,448 crore ($ 726.4 million) for the year ended March 31, 2020. Massive fire breaks out at ONGC plant in Surat as blasts rip gas pipeline

KKR to invest Rs 5,550 crore in Reliance Retail Ventures for 1.28% equity

21 states opt for Rs 97,000-crore RBI window to meet GST shortfall
